The Bahrain health ministry has reported 367 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 250 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 87 were among expatriate workers, 277 were contacts of active cases, and three were travel related. No new deaths were reported. The death toll remains at 190.
As many as 9,992 Covid-19 tests were carried out on September 2, the ministry said, taking the total number of recoveries to 49,645.
There are currently 34 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 67 cases receiving treatment. 2,938 cases are stable out of a total of 2,972 active cases.
