Major UAE cinema chain reopens

Four branches welcome customers across Dubai

If you're looking for something to do over the next few days, more movie theatres have opened their doors in Dubai. Novo Cinemas has welcomed back film lovers in the past few days with social distancing and enhanced cleanliness measures in place. The Dubai Festival City Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, Dragon Mart 2 and IMG Worlds of Adventure branches are currently allowing 30 per cent occupancy with safe seating arrangements.
As per most regulations across the city, face masks and gloves are mandatory, temperature checks are conducted upon entry and no under-12s or over-60s will be permitted.
Debbie Stanford-Kristiansen, Chief Executive Officer of Novo Cinemas, said. "We are proud of how our team have rallied to open and deliver the clear guidelines provided by the Dubai authorities. The well-being of our staff and customers is our utmost priority and we are confident to open and welcome everyone to our Dubai locations.  The team have shown an exceptionally positive attitude and are thrilled to welcome our customers back."
