Art show focuses on Pakistan
EIGHT PAKISTANI CONTEMPORARY artists will see their works featured at DUCTAC’s Gallery of Light from tomorrow until March 10.
The show, titled ‘Size and Scale Are Not the Same’, is being held in conjunction with NM Art Gallery and curated by Abdullah Qureshi, founder of the Lahore-based Gallery 39K.
The eight artists investigating their country’s social and cultural narratives are Rakhshanda Atawar, Rabbania Shirjeel, Rabia Ajaz, Imrana Tanveer, Aleem Dad Khan, Zahra Jewanjee, Julius John and Abdullah Qureshi.
