Aquaman star Jason Momoa's private plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Palm Springs, California, over reported engine fire on Thursday.
Momoa was on the way to Phoenix in Arizona when the pilot suspected an engine fire which however turned out to be a false alarm.
The Games of Thrones star shared series of videos on his Instagram story, where he can be seen posing on the tarmac where he was grounded, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Momoa wrote in his post: 'Well, we got ourselves a slight delay. Half-hour out, in Palm Springs, and the plane wanted to start a fire." The actor also said that they might have to drive if they wouldn't have got the all-clear. Looks like we're driving," he said'.

But the incident gladdened the group of Palm Springs firefighters who rushed to the tarmac and fortunately as it was a false alarm they grabbed the opportunity to click pictures with the Aquaman star. The firefighters shared pictures with the star on Instagram and wrote: 'Had an Aircraft emergency today.
Reported engine fire with @prideofgypsies on board. ARFF Engineer Andy Meza told his crew, "Not on my watch boys...not on my watch". Turned out to be a false alarm but the ARFF Lads were on the ready. It's always nice to meet cool people'.
