The Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer 'Thackeray', a biopic on the life of the late Shiv Sena leader Bal Thackeray, which was scheduled to release in UAE theatres on Thursday (January 24), has been put on hold for now due to "censorship issues", a source informed Khaleej Times.
The biopic chronicles the evolution of Thackeray from a cartoonist to one of the most influential political leaders of Maharashtra.
The movie directed by Abhijit Panse, also starring Amrita Rao, is slated to release on schedule in India.
