like Flop Show and Ulta Pulta will be performing a stand up comedy along with his equally witty wife Savita and their accomplice Sunil Grover.

Bhatti, an engineer by profession, took to comedy as a means of commenting on the various social and political issues in India. “Earlier, I was full-time engineer and a part-time comedian. Now, I am full-time comedian and a part-time engineer...I fix bulbs at home,” says the jovial Bhatti.

Talking about his decision to take up the offer to perform for tonight's show, Bhatti says that it was a novel concept that is yet to come to India and this was the challenge that he wanted to take and hence he accepted it.

Bhatti who was a cartoonist with a leading newspaper in India, later took up full-time comedy on television. And then the next obvious step was films. He has to his credit films like Aa Ab Laut Chale and the most recent Kuch Meetha Ho Jaaye.

Utpal Nath from Fuzonmedia informs that, “One Night Stand is an attempt to promote comedy. Apart from recognised artists from outside the UAE, we also give a platfrom to local artists to perform. There is also an eclectic mix of performers...like we had Jaaved Jafferi, Sajid Khan, Shazia Mirza and like. Now we have Jaspal Bhatti.”
