WE HEAR that Preity Zinta has so convincingly played an abused wife in Deepa Mehta's Heaven on Earth that during the shooting of the film in Toronto, her security guards were sorely tempted to beat up her co-star, Vansh Bhardwaj, who plays her abusive husband.
"That's true," said Preity. "The impact of the violence against me was so strong, my security guards wanted to put poor Vansh in his place. He's so damn good. They knew that we were just acting, but they still couldn't take it," she added.
