Talking about his passion for keeping time, Karan says, “I am very punctual. I make sure to be on time to any place. If I was here at a time I would be here by this time or even five minutes earlier.” Karan jokes that this habit of his has even got him into trouble now.

“That’s a problem, in fact, and I think I will have to change this. Because even if I reach on time people don’t keep time and I am stranded alone!” he laughs.

The director says he had generated this habit of keeping time as a child. “My father taught me to respect time and reach on time, even if it means that I need to wait,” says Karan. “And my friends will vouch for this. I always reach on time,” he drags on.

Karan says that it’s only time management that has enabled him to combine so many profiles in him. He directs, produces, hosts TV shows and award functions and everything else without many problems as he is very particular about time.

Currently, the man is too busy with his own directorial venture My Name Is Khan which is scheduled to take off in November and apart from that he is producing at least three films-Dostana, Koochie Koochie Hota Hai and Ayan Mukherjee’s Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor starrer. Now that’s surely time management.
