Manisha splits with Akshay

An Australian citizen of Indian origin, he's trying his luck in Bollywood since one year but nothing has gone right for him yet.

Manisha was never discreet about her relationship with Akshay, and was frequently spotted with this struggling actor in parties, events and social-dos. Says a source, Manisha and Akshay had a fight. The usually commitment-phobic Manisha told Akshay that she wanted marriage. Akshay was shocked. He never expected that Manisha would want to settle down in matrimony.

When contacted, Manisha did not deny that she and Akshay are not a couple any more, but refused to give her version of what went wrong between Akshay and her. "I don't want to discuss the details of my personal life," she quipped. Before Akshay, Manisha dated Tariq Premji, the younger son of IT mogul Azim Premji, of Wipro.

When Manisha started seeing Tariq, he was just 25, nearly a decade younger than Manisha. Before Tariq, Manisha was seeing Mangi Ferra's Prashant Chaudhary who has studied in Denver University at Colorado.

Before Prashant, Manisha had a three-year relationship with Cecil Anthony (London based businessman) and a whirlwind affair with actor Aryan Vaid. Manisha was hailed as Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit's successor. In fact, she has often been accused of modelling herself after Madhuri. Her personal life took precedence over her professional life, our source adds.
