Visiting Abu Dhabi last May with the Make a Wish Foundation Pamela Anderson, 41, fell in love with the Emirate stating at the time, “It’s so beautiful here, I would love to spend a lot more time here with my children.”
She has revealed to the media this week that she intends to oversee the building of an ecofriendly hotel in the capital city.
According to contactmusic.com the royal family of Abu Dhabi have persuaded Pamela to lay rest to her movie career for the time being and become a hotelier. The new eco-friendly hotel with a yet undisclosed scheduled opening will be built using no fossil fuels, a first for the region.
“I’m building a hotel there (Abu Dhabi). It’s environmentally friendly. I went there with the Make a Wish Foundation and met some great people there, and the royal family was really friendly,“ Pamela is reported as saying.
We can only assume how the hotel will eventually shape up. With Pamela’s involvement with PETA and eco-friendly credentials one can possibly expect an all vegan menu in the restaurant, an anti fur campaign poster on every wall and bookshelves packed with literature on the appropriate way to hug seals. But on the bright side at least her time with Tommy Lee will ensure the gift shop will always be well stocked with video equipment, for those tourist shots of course.
Anderson’s latest endeavour comes on the back of the news released in June that fellow Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt is also set to design an eco-friendly hotel and leisure complex in Dubai.
