Travel incentive programme launched

DUBAI - Winning Circle, a travel incentive programme for achievers, was launched on April 25 at the Sheraton Creek Hotel in Dubai with the aim of recognising individual excellence in the corporate sector. Winning Circle aims to encourage small and medium sized organisations to offer their employees an opportunity to participate in a unique incentive travel programme and so acknowledge dedication and commitment to their company.

S Ranganath of Magma Consultants, the facilitators of the Winning Circle initiative said, "Companies have to constantly devise new methods of showing their appreciation to attract and retain top talent. The government of Dubai has taken the lead to recognising and rewarding excellence and the private sector has to keep pace and do their part." Winning Circle has earmarked in 2004, 5 group departures for a 4-day fun filled adventure trip to Sabah in Malaysian Borneo. Tuan Ibrahim, Regional Director of Malaysia Airlines, said, "This will be a great destination for a corporate motivational programme and the Winning Circle is a great new concept and a superb way for companies to say thank you to their top performers."

The Winning Circle concept is being promoted by Al Tayer Travel Agency, Malaysia Airlines and Tourism Malaysia. It has been endorsed by the Dubai Quality Group.
