Tabreed net profit up on chilled water

DUBAI - National Central Cooling Company, or Tabreed, the Abu Dhabi-based district cooling utility company, posted a jump of 15 per cent in first quarter net profit to Dh 36.8 million against Dh 31.9 million. The company released its 2012 first quarter consolidated financial results on Tuesday.

A Press statement issued by the company said it is delivering on its strategy of expanding its chilled water business and reducing the contribution of its value chain business, while simultaneously lowering operating costs and improving operational efficiencies.
