Smart Wings plans to boost flights to Prague, Budapest

DUBAI — The Czech low-cost carrier Smart Wings Airlines, which launched regular flight operation from Dubai International Airport Terminal 1 to Prague and Budapest from May 16, plans to increase weekly frequency soon.

Smart Wings, which currently operates the new generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft once a week on Wednesdays, will increase the frequency twice a week following the appointment of Al Ghaith & Al-Moosa Travels (ALTA) as their GSA in the UAE.

Following the tie-up, ALTA is providing effective service to the travellers from Dubai to Czech Republic and Hungary, the low cost airline said.

“Association between Smart Wings and ALTA will bring a golden opportunity to the business community and tourists to visit the beautiful locations in the Czech Republic and Hungary at an affordable cost,” MP Abdul Karim, general manager, ALTA said.

“The Smart Wing direct flight to Prague will help the large number of passengers who regularly travel to the Czech SPA’s from Gulf. ALTA has a special staff team to handle the SPA customers from the United Arab Emirates and we will cater them through our branch office in the city of Prague”, Karim said.
