For the second year running, the Abu Dhabi headquartered international executive flight services company, through the hard work and dedication of the entire Royal Jet team as well as the close working relationship that Royal Jet has with a number of statutory authorities, enabled the smooth handling of around 150 aircraft movements with up to 50 aircraft parked on ramp at any one time.

“The fitting finale to an exciting Formula 1 season provided Royal Jet with an opportunity to once again showcase to the rest of the world our world-class and award-winning product and service,” said Shane O’Hare, President and CEO, Royal Jet. “Undoubtedly, our FBO and VIP facility’s capability fittingly complements Abu Dhabi’s growing stature as a worthy international venue for world-class sports, arts and cultural events.

“Such an exciting race simply reflected how exciting a destination Abu Dhabi has become. More importantly, the excellent performance of our team as well as the capabilities of our award-winning FBO and VIP Terminal facility truly makes our increased revenue results for this month as special as Sebastian Vettel crossing the finish line in first place to become the youngest ever Formula 1 world champion.

“I therefore wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Abu Dhabi Aviation, the Presidential Flight Authority, ADAC, ADNOC, Abu Dhabi International Airport Catering,Abu Dhabi Airport Security and Abu Dhabi Customs and police officials who continued to provide us with their full support,” O’Hare added. “Such a display of operational cooperation among various agencies and organizations ensured that the whole process of welcoming and sending off arriving and departing VIPs in and out of Abu Dhabi worked seamlessly. And for that, we are truly grateful.”

Situated at Abu Dhabi International Airport and just a few minutes from the Grand Prix circuit, Royal Jet’s FBO and VIP Terminal facility’s world-class handling of aircraft and passengers resulted in the flawless implementation of the entire process.

“Now on its second year, the F1 event is undoubtedly a major event in Abu Dhabi’s calendar as it reflects the phenomenal growth being experienced by the Emirate. In expecting busier days ahead as Abu Dhabi gears itself up to host more of such international events, our experience and track record of involvement in these kinds of events serve as testament to our capability of consistently providing world-class FBO and VIP terminal services to Abu Dhabi’s fast-growing number of visitors and guests,” he concluded.

Additionally, Royal Jet has commenced operations at Al Bateen Executive Airport - a dedicated executive and business jet airport and the first-of-its-kind in the Middle East and North Africa. Making use of existing facilities as developed and provided by Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), the downtown location of Al Bateen Executive Airport will surely serve to complement Royal Jet’s existing facilities at Abu Dhabi International Airport and will be a compelling advantage for its strong client base of Royalty, dignitaries, government officials, CEO’s, and celebrities. —business@khaleejtimes.com
