Remittances by expats rose to Dh16.12b last year
DUBAI - The remittances of expatriates working in the UAE increased by 6.1 per cent to Dh16.12 billion in 2003 compared to Dh15.2 billion in 2002.
This was due to the increase in the labour force employed in the country which rose by 4.8 per cent to 2.19 million as per the statistics issued by the Central Bank.
