Oracle reports strong customer growth
KARACHI — Oracle announced strong customer traction across its database, middleware and applications businesses in Pakistan.
Oracle today has more than 65 partners in Pakistan, registered into Oracle PartnerNetwork — a global business network of companies who deliver innovative software solutions based on Oracle software, said a Press release. These partners include value added resellers, system integrators, value added distributors and independent software vendors from across the country.
Several Pakistani organisations continue to select Oracle to address a multitude of business requirements. "The IT industry in Pakistan is undergoing a paradigm shift with the onset of the telecom revolution, fierce competition by international giants, IT commoditisation and development of new products, technologies and services," said Ms Samina Rizwan, regional director, South Asia Growth Economies (West), Oracle, on the sidelines of the CIO Executive Summit.
