XTOUCH aims to become top five smartphone brands in the UAE with the launch of its latest 4G device A3 with fingerprint technology.
The Dubai-headquartered company's devices are available in 20 countries in Europe Middle East and Africa within two years of operations.

The new age consumer electronics brand enjoys around 4 per cent market share. "We are targeting to achieve around seven per cent market share this year," XTOUCH vice president commercial Farhad Khan told Khaleej Times.
 
Despite challenging times, XTOUCH is growing quarter after quarter, Khan informed. Last year, the company sold around 200,000 devices and this year it aims to sell 400,000 devices. In addition to the newly launched A3 smartphone, the company is also planning to introduce a series of new models in the next two months, he added.
XTOUCH has prepared a gift pack by bundling the A3 smartphone with VFit smart band for Dh599 in the UAE. Explaining the reason, he said: "It's gifting time during forthcoming Eid in September and then Diwali in October."
He added: "Considering, the stand alone price for XTOUCH A3 of Dh399 and VFit Smart band at Dh499, whereas the bundle-offer for both devices is a jaw dropping Dh599 and exclusively available at Sharaf DG stores in the UAE."
Khan said: "We reaffirm our commitment to delight consumers with our latest offering at an affordable price point. All these features are not available in a device with less than Dh999 price. For its new device, XTOUCH is not targeting high-end smartphone lovers but young and trendy people, according to Khan. The XTOUCH A3 is a lightweight slim design 5-inch HD display dual SIM 4G LTE smartphone crafted in one piece metal body with elegant looks and premium quality. The smartphone is powered by the most advanced fingerprint sensor, located on the back of the device.
The fingerprint technology enables secure and fast unlocking as well as clicking a much easier selfie with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. This technology supported by Quick Start Apps allows users to customise the phone to open applications of their choice with each finger. Furthermore, Smart Gesture Control allows users more possibilities by just sliding left, right up or down to start apps like gallery, clock, music, messaging etc.. Also different letters can be drawn on the lock screen to reach specific applications. Complementing the front camera is a 13-megapixel back camera which delivers sharp detailed photos and videos. The A3 phone offers a unique photo taking capability with Live Photos mode in the camera, which brings your photos to life.
Powered by a MediaTek Quad-core processor, the phone delivers premium performance and decreases power consumption. With 1GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage that can be extended up to 128GB ensures all the programmes and apps run seamlessly to deliver the best. Customers can also choose from trendy color options like champagne gold, rose gold and space grey.
