SCG Jewellers opens outlet at Gold Centre
DUBAI - SCG Jewellers, one of the leading wholesale distributors of 22/21 Kolkata Jewellery, announced their retail debut in Dubai by opening an outlet at Gold Centre, Deira, Dubai.
Announcing this in a Press release Yogendra Gouti, director, said that the new venture is a launch pad for them in the retail segment.
“The Gouti Group is one of the well established names in the gold bullion industry. We thought of capitalising on our strengths by opening our first retail outlet in Dubai,” he added.
According to Yogendra Gouti, Dubai is a gold shopper’s paradise. “We are very confident that our initial venture in Dubai will be highly successful. SCG Jewellers was formed in 2005 with the main objective of catering to the Middle East and Africa markets. We plan to invest around Dh 200 million in the next five years and to expand our brand network across the UAE as well as the main hubs in the Middle East.”
