Lloyds launches management programme
DUBAI — Lloyds TSB Dubai has launched a Management Development Programme aimed at giving work experience to young UAE Nationals. Three Emirati students have been signed up to the one year programme.
Hanifa Haji Mohamed Sidiq, Noora Saeed Juma Nasher and Shams Rashid Al Mehair, are studying at Zayed University and will spend one day a month plus one eight week work placement at Lloyds TSB Dubai's head office on Al Wasl Road in Jumeira. Giles Cunningham, Regional Manager Lloyds TSB Dubai, said: "We are committed to ensuring that Lloyds TSB contributes to the development of young UAE nationals who may seek a career in banking and we believe that this programme is as much about us demonstrating to the students what working life is like in a busy banking centre as it is about the students learning about the intricacies of banking."
