Eros unveils two Samsung mobile phones

DUBAI - Samsung announced on Monday the launch of two new mobile phones and an upgrade for the 'Free-i' camera phone SGH V 200 C.

Unveiling the new range at the Samsung Mobile Challenge, Deepak Babani, CEO of Eros Group, distributors of the brand, said with the new line-up, the Korean digital leader now has nine models in the market. "With another seven new models in the offing, we will have 12 new models this year itself to underscore our leadership in colour screen technology." he said.

The models unveiled included SGH S-200 and SGH C-100, priced at Dh1,370 and Dh700 respectively. SGH S-200 is a refined flip-phone featuring a full colour external screen and a brilliant 65,000 colour display inside. The two-tone colour design has a high quality luster with velvetlike ultra modern appearance and weights only 75 grams.

The tri-band phone is GPRS enabled, WAP 1.2 compliant and packed with the latest features including 40 polyphonic ring tones, voice memo, downloadable games. SGH C-1OO is a slim colour phone model weighing only 76 grams.

The SGH V200 'free-I' camera phone has Arabic text and the MMS technology. Current owners of SGH V2OOC models purchased with Eros Electricals warranty card through authorised Samsung dealers in the UAE can also take advantage of the latest MMS technology. Customers can avail of the free MMS software upgrade for these warranty phones at Eros Electricals Service Centre at Deira.

Eros Electricals also is providing one year's free mobile phone insurance and comprehensive manufacturer's warranty on all Samsung mobile phones purchased with Eros Electricals warranty.

The free insurance covers virtually any eventuality such as water, fire and accidental damage, loss or theft. Several participants from Samsung mobile phone dealers from the UAE competed for the Samsung Mobile Challenge Trophy. Winners were rewarded with prizes for their expert product knowledge.
