DIFC wins special merit award at HFWA Mideast
DUBAI — A wide range of firms were honoured for their contribution to alternative investing in the Gulf region at the first ever Hedge Funds World Awards, Middle East, launched by Terrapin and Man Investments.
The Dubai International Financial Centre was selected as the recipient of the special merit award for outstanding industry contribution. The list of winners includes: Rasmala Investments - newcomer of the year; Citco - service provider of the year; Investcorp - institutional hedge fund manager; Argent Financial Group - most innovative project; ABN Amro - hedge fund distributor of the year; DIFC - special merit award for outstanding industry contribution.
