Dh4m Deals Signed at Aquariya Expo
DUBAI - Aquariya Expo 2009, the ornamental aquatic exhibition and the consumer event for the marine aquarium industry in the Middle East, has concluded with deals worth Dh4 million signed, according to Orange Fairs & Events, organiser of the event.
95 per cent of the international and regional exhibitors who were present at the show have confirmed their participation at next year’s event which is scheduled for March 2010. Aquariya Expo received 3700 visitors
during the three-day event.
Seminars were also held on the latest technological innovations in aquarium keeping, appraisal on the global market trends, marketing issues, as well as global and local
policies and legislation.
Inno Fisheries Sdn. Bhd, an exhibitor from Malaysia who showcased a wide array of corals and marine fish, reported over Dh300,000 in closed deals during the event, and expects to boost its exports to Dubai and Iran
by around 300 per cent.
