Mutaiwee received the invitation from Vicky Pantazopulou, Vice-President of Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce & Industry at the DCCI. Fahad Al Gergawi, director of Trade and Business Development Department of DCCI attended the meeting.

The invitation to participate in this conference was sent to all Arab and European chambers. An international exhibition for products from the participating countries has also been organised to coincide with the conference. The exhibition will stretch over an area of 10,000 square metre, and each country will be allocated space over 200 sq metres.

The event, under the patronage of the Greek Government, will also be attended by Amr Moussa, Secretary General of The Arab League, in addition to ministers from the participating countries, representing sectors related to trade, finance and business, besides economy, parliament and diplomatic VIPs.

Pantazopulou said the Greek Government is interested in creating new channels to develop and consolidate economic cooperation with Arab and European counties. The Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation Establishment, which is organising the event, will prepare, in coordination with the Secretariat-General of Economy Relationships and International Development of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a complete file about each of the participating countries.

The data related to each country will be processed in a special way in order to prepare an easy file containing complete information about each participant, emphasising such information regarding political, economic, legislative, financial, statistical and investment aspects.
