Airolink, a design and construction group, recently won building contracts worth Dh2.8 billion, increasing its order book to Dh4.4 billion in total.

The company also announced the appointment of chief operating officer Mohannad Al Faouri; general manager - construction Robert Marinelli; commercial director Philipose Mullen; projects director Majoe Mathew; and senior projects manager Munjid Salih to lead the company's expansion plans.

"This reflects the growing confidence of clients in our project delivery capacity and demonstrates our growing strength in project management and construction," said Anil G Pillai, chairman and managing director of Airolink.

Airolink is currently constructing a number of projects that are at various stages of development in the UAE.

Its ongoing projects include the Seven Hotel & Residences Palm, Mamzar Centre, Dubai Heights School, Emirates College of Technology, Bloom School and the Art Centre. Airolink has been involved in the construction of eight schools and colleges in Dubai and Abu Dhabi with total built-up area of more than 2.7 million square feet.
