QatarAirways migrates to Amadeus Altéa DCS

Amadeus and Qatar Airways, named Best Airline in the Middle East for the eighth year running, announced on Thursday the airline’s successful migration to Altéa Departure Control – Flight Management and Customer Management.

The move to this flexible solution will significantly enhance the airline’s efficiency in flight operations and customer service, whilst reducing costs. Qatar Airways is the state-owned flag carrier of Qatar based in Doha.

“The successful migration of Qatar Airways to Amadeus Altéa Departure Control – Customer Management and Flight Management is a strategic step towards the transformation of our IT system,” said Srinivasan A.T., CIO Qatar Airways.
