The companies in the aviation industry currently represents 13 per cent of the tenants in the free zone, which plays host to some of the leading companies including Boeing, Airbus, Jet-Aviation, Bombardier, Rolls-Royce, Matsushita Avionics, Thales International, Trans Aero, Air Partner, Augusta Aerospace, SICMA Aero Seat and many more. The number of aviation companies at the Dubai Airport Freezone has increased considerably over the last few years due to the growing demand in the region.

Commenting on Dubai Airport Freezone’s participation at the Airshow, Jamal bin Marghoob, Acting Director, Marketing and Corporate Communications at Dubai Airport Freezone, said: “We are always delighted to be part of Dubai Airshow as it provides the most significant platform for us to engage with the aviation sector, which constitutes our largest tenant base.”

Dubai Airport Freezone offers a unique advantage for logistics and cargo as well as the aviation sector due to its proximity to Dubai International Airport, which is one of the busiest in the world. In addition, Dubai is strategically located between Asia and the West, making it highly attractive to companies that depend on time-sensitive shipments. The free zone complements these location advantages by providing a one-stop-shop where investors can get all their documentation for licensing, registration and employee sponsorship done online.

“We look forward to welcoming key decision makers from various countries and introducing them to our services,” added Bin Marghoob.
