The inaugural flight, G90620, took off to Cairo on Thursday at a special ceremony attended by senior officials from Air Arabia and Egyptian Ambassador to the UAE Ihab Emam Hamouda.
The new service from the carrier’s primary hub in Sharjah marks Air Arabia’s fourth destination in Egypt and 90th worldwide. Air Arabia now offers three weekly flights to Cairo, making it a convenient destination for passengers from and to the UAE, travelling for business or pleasure.
Flights depart Sharjah International Airport on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, at 1:00pm arriving in Cairo International Airport at 3:20pm. Return flights depart Cairo at 4:00pm arriving in Sharjah at 9:20pm. All times are local.

Air Arabia also connects passengers from Sharjah to Alexandria, Assuit and Sohag in Egypt. There has been a significant level of demand for Air Arabia’s Egypt services over the past years, with its wide range of value for money offerings making it an airline of choice.
