Worker dies in fall
SHARJAH — Loose safety belt reportedly cost an Indian worker his life as he fell from the ninth floor of a building in Al Majaz area in Sharjah on Tuesday morning.
He was working on the maintenance of the building when his safety belt suddenly snapped, police sources said.
He was rushed to Al Qasimi Hospital but he was declared brought dead. Hospital sources said he died due to internal bleeding in the brain and a fracture in the back.
