According to Colonel Ali Humaid Al Musaibi, Director of the traffic and patrolling department of Ajman Police, the driver has also sustained injuries.
All injured were taken to Khalifa Hospital.
The accident was reported on Wednesday and it occurred while the woman was intending to park her car in the parking area in front of the fast-food restaurant in Ajman.
On stopping the car she accidentally pressed the accelerator rather than the break, causing the vehicle to surge ahead.
After treatment the driver was referred to the Al Hamidiya police station to complete legal procedures.
