WATCH: Lioness brings Indian city to a roaring halt

Rajkot - The lioness entered the village in the evening and started devouring the leftover of the cow that it had killed.

An adult Asiatic lioness entered Virpur-Gadhia village in Amreli district of Rajkot on Sunday afternoon and even preyed on a cow.
The incident happened right in the middle of the town, Times of India reported. The villagers were in a state of shock when she left the place due to people's commotion only to return in the evening again!
At noon, the lioness casually walked on the road and spotted a cow. It immediately preyed upon the bovine and started eating it. However, as people gathered on their terraces and nearby areas, she immediately left the village and returned to the nearby forest, according to the report.
At around 7pm, she returned to the village and started devouring the leftover of the cow that it had killed.
