They raised the issue with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for the Federal National Council Affairs Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash.

The minister, in reply to queries he received on his Twitter page, assured the UAE nationals whose motor vehicles have run out of fuel in Oman and had been stuck at the petrol stations waiting for petrol supplies as the filling stations there have run out of petrol because of the excessive demand on fuel during Eid Al Fitr.

Dr Gargash subsequently pursued the matter with UAE Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman who pointed out that petrol supplies are on its way to the empty gas stations.

Gargash called upon Emiratis who got stranded in Oman to contact the UAE Embassy in Oman or call the Abu Dhabi’s Operations Room on 02-4444497.
