UAE hosts world’s biggest business school fairs

ABU DHABI - The QS World MBA Tour, the world’s leading series of career and education events for aspiring MBAs, has returned to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, building on the great success of recent events.

Featuring hundreds of influential business schools from around the world such as; Cass, Cornell-Nanyang, Duke, Hult, IE Business School, Manchester Business School, Murdoch, Toronto – Rotman, Warwick...and many more, The QS World MBA Tour is visiting Dubai on the 9th December and Abu Dhabi on 11th December, 2009 to provide unique, free expert seminars and admission panels, allowing candidates to direct questions to a number of experts.

In selected venues there will also be MBA Masterclasses, enabling participants to experience first-hand how lessons are delivered in business schools.

In addition, the QS World MBA Tour offers about AED 6 million worth of exclusive scholarships during the Fall 2009 season. These scholarships offered by QS as well as by its partner schools - including Wharton, Chicago, Cass, MIP and Politecnico di Milano - are available only to attendees of the fair.

Representatives and admissions officers and alumni of prestigious business schools will be available at the Dubai Monarch Hotel on Wednesday December 9, Shaikh Zayed Road and at the Abu Dhabi Hilton on Friday December 11 for a face-to-face interviews with MBA candidates as they shortlist the right school for their MBA studies.

Candidates can obtain information on full-time, part-time and distance learning MBA programs, fees, admissions, scholarships, financial aid, the GMAT test and graduate MBA career opportunities. They can also register on www.topmba.com for full and free information on the event, MBA programs and participating academic institutions.

The Tour, in its 15th year, is visiting over 40 countries with over 360 of the world’s international top business schools. This all-inclusive suite of educational events has become the world’s most successful event of its kind and has helped place thousands of MBA candidates in top business schools of their choice.

The QS World MBA Tour is the largest program of recruitment and information fairs for business school applicants. In 2008 over 250,000 potential applicants visited 75 events in 41 countries, meeting on average, 80 accredited business schools at each event.

For more experienced candidates, the QS World Executive MBA Fair, which often runs concurrently with the MBA Fair, allows candidates interested in modular learning to meet some of the world’s leading EMBA programs in a relaxed environment.

The first 200 candidates arriving at the fair will receive a complimentary copy of the QS TopMBA Career Guide, a 350-page publication that includes expert editorial on the MBA industry and a comprehensive directory of the world’s top business schools.
