Two Telugu films to release this week

While MMAK will be defined by the punch dialogues of Mohan Babu and the super-comic timing of Allari Naresh (who marks his 50th film in a career of just over 14 years), Soukhyam has Gopichand trying to win over audiences in his inimitable style.

Telugu film fans have a treat awaiting them at theatres this week with two new releases - Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu, an action comedy starring Mohan Babu and Allari Naresh; and Soukhyam, also billed as an action-comedy, starring Gopichand and Regina Cassandra.
While MMAK will be defined by the punch dialogues of Mohan Babu and the super-comic timing of Allari Naresh (who marks his 50th film in a career of just over 14 years), Soukhyam has Gopichand trying to win over audiences in his inimitable style. And if reports are to be believed, Gopichand could be up next in the Baahubali sequel.
MMAK also has Ramya Krishna and Meena with actor Varun Sandesh also doing a cameo - a role that he took up reportedly for free. The film has generated strong buzz internationally too and could be a perfect outing for this extended weekend.
Soukhyam marks the return of director Ravi Kumar Chowdary with Gopichand after Yagnam. Ravi, who thanks Gopichand for his career-break, says in their second outing, the promise to audiences is an all-out entertainer.
