Two prisoners embrace Islam
FUJAIRAH — Two prison inmates serving jail terms at the Punitive and Correctional Institution of Fujairah Police have converted to Islam.
Andrew Kwa, a Liberian prisoner; and Jitha Sudhakaran, Indian; embraced Islam saying that the major reason for their conversion was the humanly and kind way they were being treated by officials.
Besides this, they said the Moral Guidance Section played an important role by delivering lectures and providing Islamic books, which call for tolerance, good treatment of people and the strong bonds between Muslims.
The Fujairah reformatory in conjunction with the Fujairah Guidance and Missionary Centre hence issued them certificate regarding this.
