Two killed, three hurt in Sharjah accident
SHARJAH — Two persons were killed and three seriously injured when they were run over by a speeding vehicle early yesterday on Ibrahim Al Midffa Road near Etisalat Tower.
The accident took place at 5.00am when four Indian nationals who were crossing the road were hit a speeding Land Cruiser. On seeing the pedestrians, the driver of the vehicle applied the brakes but failed in his effort to avoid the pedestrians.
