Speaking at the presentation, Krishnan, said: “MMI staff, many of whom have family and friends in tsunami-hit areas, have been very proactive in fund raising for the relief fund. MMI specifically requested that the funds donated should be channelled specifically to support the tsunami relief efforts in South East Asia. This donation by staff follows other tsunami fund-raising initiatives led by MMI, including a fund-raising night at MMI’s Left Bank restaurant and the ‘Dubai Dig Deep’ concert, organised by MMI Events.”

These activities raised an additional Dh63,000 which was channelled directly to tsunami relief projects through Dubai Aid City.”
