The schools will present their courses focusing on English and Italian languages designed for foreigners. Some universities offer full degree courses in English, while some others offer Masters and summer courses in English. For those wishing to study in Italian, special courses for foreigners have been designed.

The schools participating in the event have specialised in business administration, international relations, IT, engineering, architecture and fashion and design. Three American universities operating in Rome will be present at the pavilion.

"The major Italian participation will open wide the doors to strengthen the existing bilateral relations and exchange of education programmes," said Domenico Pedata, Ambassador of Italy.

The participating institutions are Bocconi University, the European Institute of Design, University of Pavia, University of Bologna, University of Perugia for Foreigners, University of Siena for Foreigners, the Dante Alighieri Society for Teaching Italian Language, John Cabot University, the American University of Rome, and St John's University.
