However, the Dubai Police said it is too early to say that. 'We are conducting investigations and we have to verify all statements and evidence,' said a police source.
Tamim and Suzan's brother visited the General Department of Criminal Investigation in the morning. They met Khamis Mattar Al Mazina, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the police.
The police said that they are making all efforts to arrest the murderer and have arrested a number of suspects of various nationalities.
Before his arrival in Dubai, Tamim told Arabia TV that he had a telephonic conversation with his daughter before her death and that she had disclosed some important information to him which could lead to the arrest of the murderer.
He said his daughter was not killed over any financial dispute, somebody wanted to take revenge and hired someone to kill her.
He said that he will hand over some documents to the police, and called on the UAE authorities to speed up the investigation.
Meanwhile, Suzan's body would be repatriated after the completion of legal procedures, a police source told Khaleej Times.
The Public Prosecution has given permission to hand over the body after the forensic tests that might help unravel the mystery behind her death.
Her father and brother plan to bury her in Beirut.
However, Adel Matouq, Suzan's second husband and her former business manager, called on the UAE authorities not to hand over the body of the singer to anybody. He said he would come to Dubai after preparing all documents of the victim or those related to the case.
He told Arabia TV that he has assigned a lawyer to go to Dubai to follow up the legal procedures.
The body is still in the General Department of Forensic Medicine waiting for the death certificate and cancellation of her visa. Later, the body would be handed over to Maktoum Hospital which worked only till 12 noon on Saturday. Most of the legal and administrative procedures would be completed only on Sunday.
