In Saudi Arabia, the snow comes every year, and every year it's a surprise.
Snowman, skiing and piles of cars -- people in Saudi Arabia are seeing it all in this short-lived snow season. While the Kingdom is still experiencing light to medium showers, the sudden burst of snow comes as a welcome treat to Saudi residents and they can't hold back their excitement.
Saudis have taken to Twitter to express their thrills and chills, with one resident building a snowman.

Forget the artificially built Snow City, now you can even ski on the icy roads, like this man.

Many others got slowed down as a long line of cars were seen stranded in the snow.

Snow covered central and northwestern regions in Saudi Arabia as temperatures dipped below freezing point, according to Saudi Gazette.
Layers of snow carpeted the central city of Shakra and the northwestern city of Tabuk as a cold wave gripped the region. Temperatures dropped to -3 degree Celsius in Tabarjal, a town in northern Al Jawf region and to -1 degree Celsius in Al Quryat, a northern province, reports Saudi Gazette.
