Special Civil Defence team for public parks

The team has launched several inspection visits to provide the proper safety equipment in parks and ensure the safety of visitors will enjoy their time. The Dubai Civil Defence collaborated with one of the biggest specialised international companies in implementing safety procedures for electronic, mechanic and hydraulic games in the parks. These companies are responsible for checking and evaluating the safety of the games installed in parks.

Lieutenant Othman Ahli, Officer in charge of the Public Parks Safety said: “A special plan between the stations and departments was placed by the DSF Civil Defence Committee to enhance safety aspects in the parks where DSF activities are taking place. The increasing number of guests and visitors, and the expanding locations of parks did make our task difficult, it has given us a motive to work harder in one team spirit and collaborate with the specialised authorities to secure the activities and make sure visitors will enjoy their time in a safe environment.”
