Sharjah Police, on Wednesday called on all cars and spare parts companies and retailers to renew their commercial licences from January 1 to 29, 2018, to avoid being fined.
Lieutenant Colonel Humaid Al Jalaf, Acting Director of Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department said that the licences must be renewed annually, adding that the old ones would be replaced with new ones that have the the year 2018 written on it.
He said that Sharjah Police is effectively communicating with the community to increase people's trust in the police, provide security, know their suggestions to fix any problem and provide more services and developing projects.
The police also stated that to renew the license, the old license should be brought with the labeling of origin.
