The 2006-07 cards have 11 different designs centring around Arab, Islamic festivities and the mystique and diversity of the region is portrayed in the images of Camel, Ramadan Lanterns, Ancient Arabia, Dubai Moving Forward and Brown Door.

There are also cards depicting Fatehpur Sikri, the famous Indian site, a typical Persian rug, the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, a Still Life with flowers, a Happy New Year card and a general World Greetings, showing the image of a festive Globe on the night sky.

Most of the designs are paintings donated by local artists or galleries.

All cards are blank, but for orders of over 100 cards per design, MSF will customise them, by adding a personal message or a company logo on all the cards required.

Apart from greeting cards, MSF has also launched the 2007 desk calendar, which is bilingual, with 24 separate pages for English and Arabic.

Special days such as "World Aids Day", "International Children's Day" or "World Refugee Day" are highlighted.

The selling price for the calendar is Dh10, while the greeting cards are priced at Dh3.5 per card for the first 99 cards, the price getting lower with larger quantities bought.

All proceeds from both the greeting cards and desk calendars will assist MSF missions around the world.

The products are available through the MSF offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as well as a few bookshops and mega stores.
