Saudi wins Dh500,000
DUBAI — A Saudi national has become the eighth winner of the weekly Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) shopping promotion draws.
Abdul Rahman Issa Al Safraa, who held the winning coupon number 3230212, walked away with Dh500,000 during the raffle draw on Thursday.
“This summer has been a good opportunity for shoppers to enjoy the various promotions offered by Dubai’s malls, while at the same time, getting a chance to win cash prizes, said Eisa Adam Ibrahim, president of the Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG).
Prizes at stake during the DSS 2007 weekly raffle promotion have been expected to total Dh4 million. As part of the promotion, shoppers at all 21 participating DSS malls get one raffle coupon for every Dh200 worth of purchases. Purchases made using MasterCard credit cards automatically receive three coupons for every Dh200.
