Safety awareness lectures for drivers of school buses
ABU DHABI - The Abu Dhabi Traffic and Patrols Directorate of the AbuDhabi Police has organised lectures to increase awareness of drivers and supervisors of school buses, according to a senior officer.
As many as 400 drivers and supervisors attended the lectures which come as part of theGCCthird quarterly campaign titled, ‘Traffic safety for school students’, said Lt Col Ahmed Abdullah Al Shihi, director of the department. Topics covered in the lectures included reasons of traffic accidents, such as speeding, inattentive driving, as well as students’ indiscipline. A briefing was also given on the traffic signs and directions, Al Shihi explained
