Ahmed Hashim Bahrouzyan, CEO of RTA Licensing Agency, stated that through this link the Agency intended to minimise errors made in entering data insurance data upon renewal of vehicle ownership, and improve and upgrade the services provided by the Agency to its customers to the highest international standards in this respect.
Bahrouzyan said, “The Agency has launched the e-link initiative with insurance companies in order to retrieve insurance policy particulars online without having them to be keyed in by the licensing staff at the service centers across Dubai Emirate. This service enables customers accomplish their transactions online without wasting time or efforts as the details are readily available online and take no time.”
He added, “This plan is very important and represents a spotlight in the world of e-services. Our future drive aims to provide vehicle licensing services (particularly renewal of vehicle ownership which ranks at the top of services in demand) through various channels such as the Internet and telephone. Some insurance companies have already engaged with the Agency to achieve the intended goals of e-link.”
