RTA marks Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s accession
DUBAI - The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is hosting a show here in Umm Ramool district on antiquities to mark the third anniversary of accession of Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to the rulership of Dubai.
The antiquities, which portray the history of the UAE before and after the inception of federation, belong to UAE nationals Badr Mohammed Sa’b and Ibrahim Ali, employees at the RTA.
Laila Ali bin Hareb, director of the customer service centre at the RTA, said the RTA cares for youth hobbies and talents, whether they were group or individual initiatives.
The event showcases rare currencies, old postal stamps and photos, including rare photos of Shaikh Mohammed, as well as autobiography of Shaikh and other books.
