Prime Minister of Pakistan’s Special Envoy, Ambassador Javed Malik in association with the Pakistani community in UAE organised “Art of Friendship 2014” to mark Pakistan Day and pay tribute to Pakistan’s deep rooted relations with the UAE.

The ceremony also featured an art exhibition by Pakistani artists Gulgee, Jamshed Qaiser, Mashkoor Rana and others.
Law Minister Government of Punjab, Rana Sana Ullah Khan attended the celebrations along with members of the Pakistani and Emirati community as well as the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-N in the UAE.
Speaking on the occasion on Wednesday, the minister appreciated the Pakistani community living overseas and said, “The hard work being put in by the overseas Pakistanis is playing a vital role in turning around the country’s economy.” He assured the audience that the present government is determined to resolve issues facing the country.
He paid tribute to the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, whose dynamic policies have made it possible for over a million Pakistanis to live, work and do business in the UAE.
“The Pakistani community is united to serve Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif,” said Noorul Hasan Tanvir, President of the UAE chapter of Pakistan Muslim League (N).
