Rain, Thunderstorms Expected
DUBAI/ABU DHABI - Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in the country till Wednesday, according to the duty forecaster at the Dubai International Airport.
“There is a risk of heavy rainfall on Monday and Tuesday in various parts across the country. On Monday and Tuesday night, there will be isolated showers and thunderstorms which is expected to come to an end by Wednesday morning,” said the forecaster.
The rainfall recorded at the Meteorology Department of Dubai International Airport for Friday was approximately 6mm. Monday morning is expected to be warmer.
According to a report by the National Center for Meteorology and Seismology, Abu Dhabi, there is a prediction for more clouds to emerge in the next two days and it would carry occasional thunderstorms especially in the north and desert regions.
