An 18-year-old B.Sc student has ended life after been allegedly fed up of harassment and ragging by senior students.
The victim, Asnas, was found hanging in the bathroom of her house on Friday morning. The incident took place in Vatakara, India.
Asnas was a B.Sc second-year student of microbiology at MHES College, Cherandathur, India.
According to the Manorama Online, the college authorities had not taken any action even as she complained of ragging. According to her classmates, she was harnessed by her seniors the other day.
While no suicide note has been found, police have started investigations in the case.
