Quran recitation contest

DUBAI — The fifth inter-school Holy Quran recitation competition of Dubai Indian Islamic Centre (DIIC) to be held today will be evaluated by a panel of judges from Dubai Auqaf and Islamic Affairs Department, said P.T. Abdul Rahman, DIIC General Secretary. He said the topics for debate competition include current social, cultural and educational issues and problems raised by scientific developments such as “Should old age shelter be supported” and “Should it create a positive impact if computers replace teachers”.
